Hi, I’m Mark (Mutti)- welcome to my little website! I'm still getting moved in but have some good stuff in store related to my journey with ham/amateur radio: our ham hikes, projects, building gear, lessons learned (oh so many!), mobile operations, Starlink, photography, and probably more.

Currently, I'm enjoying all bands my General license allows me, from Los Angeles and around the western U.S. on road trips with our little family of three humans and two dogs.

When I'm not spending time with my family or working as a DevOps engineer at Pico MES, I'm working on my not-for-profit video docuseries covering the Angeles National Forest. That project has taken on a life of its own and I find myself volunteering for various digital communications tasks that seem to make the forest's firefighters lives a little easier. Perhaps more on that some other time.

Capturing 6K video for Landmark 717 on the Bouquet Fire (2022). I've been unable to release any of the footage as the fire (caused by a 4x4 rollover) is still under investigation now in 2025
